Nurse Practitioner, Angela Zavala, was raised on a farm near David City, Nebraska. She graduated in 2003 from Bryan College of Health Sciences with her diploma in nursing and completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Having over fifteen years of nursing experience, she has worked in areas including adult and neonatal intensive care and ambulatory surgery. She received a Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from Nebraska Methodist College. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Angela has been selected as one of the 2018 “40 under 40” Emerging Nurse Leader Honorees by the Nebraska Action Coalition. She is married with three children and enjoys reading and traveling in her free time.
