Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Kate graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2002. In 2008 she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and began her nurse practitioner career in obstetrics and gynecology. She has been a nurse practitioner in Lincoln, NE, for over 12 years, including work at Homestead Rehabilitation Center, and most recently, at Holmes Lake Family Medicine. She transitioned into family practice in 2013, where she has enjoyed caring for patients of all ages. Kate is a board-certified nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Nebraska Nurse Practitioners. She is married with two sons. In her free time, she enjoys watching her boys play baseball and spending time with her family.
