Nurse Practitioner, Kate Pfeffer, was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began work at the Bryan East Emergency Department. With Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Stroke, and Trauma Certifications she has provided acute and chronic care to patients of all ages. Kate received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2022. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kate is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling with her husband, baking, scuba diving, snow skiing, and playing with her daughter.
